Music Freak
I have to admit I'm a bit of a music freak. I can't stop listening to music, even when I work. It kind of makes me feel like my life has a soundtrack, which helps making it seem a little less boring than it really is.
As you may or may not have noticed, the name of this blog comes from a song by an amazing band called The Jealous Girlfriends, so it makes perfect sense that I my first entry on this blog should be about them. Here's their Myspace: http://www.myspace.com/thejealousgirlfriends
The lead singer is Holly Miranda, she has a fantastic voice! She made a couple of solo albums that are definitely worth checking out! She toured with Tegan and Sara, the XX and Florence and the Machine. I will probably drop a few lines about these bands in future entries.
